Clinical Collaboration Manager

Direct Hire Opportunity for PhD and/or MD with a Large Healthcare Device Company.Specific Requirements: Maintain and expand clinical collaboration initiatives to support medical imaging Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) research and product development and to evaluate and promote CAD products and prototypes thru publications and clinical awareness. Develops and guides the testing or investigations pertaining to the development of very complex new designs, methods, materials, or processes and investigates possible application of results. Analyzes, evaluates, and plans very complex methods of approach, and organizes means to achieve the solution to problems. Interprets and evaluates test data and results of very complex investigation and develops appropriate recommendations. Develops reports, charts, graphs, and other documents and makes recommendations to senior staff. Develops the design of a variety of very complex products, processes, and components. Reviews and approves related inputs such as drawings and specifications prepared by technical support personnel. Coordinates with engineering support to arrange for the production of experimental runs or for the construction of experimental models and special test equipment. Be able to train physicians on key software modality applications and embedded CAD tools (prototype and finished application) to support better physician utilization of tools and train physician when performing studies Maintain knowledge database of clinical collaborations and clinical relationship management Define and follow-up with contracts in collaboration activities. Be able to set achievable clinical research goals and monitor progress towards those goals.  Collaborate with physicians in defining pilot studies to determine/verify performance of prototypes or products. Authoring, co-authoring or supporting physicians for submissions of abstracts to conferences and journals Submit patent filing for potential new research applications of the current technology or potential new areas.  Visit sites to support activities to obtain data complying with contractual agreement and HIPAA requirements Attend conferences and trade-shows (ECR, RSNA, etc.) to meet with collaborator and present results.
