We have an immediate opportunity for:Clinical Manager COPDCandidates may work remotely, relocation is not required.Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the medical director, clinical research, engineering and marketing associates to assure productive respiratory medical device clinical research for patients with chronic lung disease such as COPD Contribute directly to innovative respiratory devices and therapies using clinical experience and knowledge Cultivate a network of relationships with key opinion leaders and research hospitals and institutions Maintain a deep working knowledge of relevant clinical literature, clinical studies, medical and scientific journals, and electronic media or databases Facilitate scientific advisory meetings and participate at medical conferences Possess an entrepreneur spirit and a drive to improve respiratory therapies for chronic lung patientsRequirements: BS in scientific discipline or life sciences field; Advanced degree in a relevant scientific / clinical discipline preferred Minimum of 10 years experience in pulmonary and respiratory fields Demonstrated ability of getting important clinical work designed, implemented, and completed Current or prior hands-on clinical experience with patients who have chronic lung disease Strong clinical knowledgeable of the diseases process and care management aspects of COPD, Emphysema, and Chronic Bronchitis Work recognized and published in relevant medical journals, preferred Experience with respiratory medical devices and regulations preferred Experience with statistical software tools to analyze research and test results preferred Travel requiredAt Respironics Inc., our products improve the lives of patients with a variety of respiratory needs in the hospital, homecare, critical care and neonatal environments.
