We have an immediate opportunity in our Pittsburgh, PA territory for:Clinical Research AssociateResponsibilities: Implement, monitor or audit simple clinical trials with minimal supervision or moderately complex trials with occasional supervision. Compose research protocols for simple or moderately complex research projects using recognized scientific standards and hypothesis formulation. Select research sites and participate in negotiating research agreements with supervision. Collaborate with research sites to obtain Institutional Review Board approval before initiating a research project. Train staff at research sites with regards to the research protocol, data collection process, and adverse event reporting. Review research site's data collection and verifies completeness and accuracy. Assure each research site possesses an adequate inventory of equipment to conduct the research project. Possess an understanding of and has experience with United States and international medical device and protection of human subjects regulations. Possess the ability to conduct appropriate statistical analysis of study data for simple and moderately complex research projects with minimal supervision. Summarize research findings and writes reports based on analysis of study data.Requirements: BS/BA level degree or higher that provides the foundation for managing clinical research studies. Training or experience with basic biostatistics. Ongoing training in clinical monitoring from a recognized professional organization. Completion of internal company products classes. 1-2 years of related clinical experience required. Experience writing research protocols and or scientific papers. Experience in conducting or monitoring clinical research trials. Ability to manage multiple projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
