Director of AV Integration, Lead the design, deployment & service of our new distribution systems

Image Stream Medical (ISM) designs, manufactures, and markets visualization and image management solutions for the Operating Room and special procedure clinics. Establishing a track-record of innovation, ISM introduced the first DVD burning surgical video recorder, video editing software for physicians that integrates with Power Point, simultaneous dual source recording capability, and now video-over-IP streaming from the OR. Our focus has provided us with the knowledge and expertise necessary to lead the way in digital image visualization and management solutions--now and into the future.

 

 

At this time of product line expansion, we are seeking a Director of AV Integration to build and lead the AV Integration organization.  This group is responsible for the design, deployment, and post-installation service of our new MainStreamTM and LiveStreamTM integration systems which enables  visualization and image management systems for the OR as well as site-specific customizations. 

 

 This Director will:

 

·  Develop and implement systems to effectively manage integration at our customer sites

·  Schedule all labor associated with integration including design deliverable, rack fabrication and testing, in hour/on site programming, and support of installation and field service technicians

·  Resolve issues related to construction delays, design discrepancies, installation schedules, delivery dates, and final inspections

·  Direct the project manager and other personnel to gather complete contract deliverable package, obtain product and graphic approval, brainstorm new ideas, maintain product property inventory

·  Utilize strong understanding of the construction process, the roles of the various design/construction professionals, and the various employee/customer perspectives in a large AV and construction project

·  Manage the department to budget.  Work with senior management to establish and implement budget.  Have P&L responsibility

 

BS and 5+ years of direct commercial AV industry experience in a leadership or management role is essential.  Must have strong understanding of audio principles, including echo cancellation for video conferencing applications; ability to fluently read all design drawings, including: Audio, Video, Control, Data, Conduit, and Architectural;  well-honed management and communications skills to lead a diverse, high achieving team; and  familiarity with design software, ability to read blueprints and fluency in MS Office products. Strong work ethic, high energy, ”do what it takes to get the job done” attitude along with good organizational and communications skills are essential to be successful here.
