Director of Marketing
The Director of Marketing's primary responsibility is to provide leadership for developing, executing, monitoring, and revising annual market plans consistent with corporate objectives, which are designed to improve our competitive position and increase overall profits on our Structural Heart product lines (Minimally Invasive Surgery/Transcatheter Therapies/PFO). Specific duties include: •Direct and coordinate Marketing activities toward accomplishment of business goals and objectives •Partner with U.S. Sales Division and International Sales Division to determine business plans and priorities •Develop Divisional strategic and operating plan •Establish Marketing project priorities and allocate resources and workload •Manage worldwide product portfolio, recommending product additions, deletions, new product ventures and strategic directions •Direct product planning, including product phase-in and phase-out •Determine, develop, and execute post-market clinical trial strategy Identify members for and manage the Advisory Board •Ensure appropriate training and education is provided to those personnel that are involved in the use or application of division products •Liaison with other departments (e.g., Quality, R&D, Legal, Operations, Marketing and Clinical Affairs) for division-wide initiatives •Supervise and develop staff •Prepare and manage annual department budgetEducation and/or Experience: •Bachelors degree, MBA preferred; Professional Marketing Certification is preferred •7-10 years medical experience required (Cardiovascular marketing experience preferred) •Extensive experience with strategic marketing of US and global medical devices.
