We are currently seeking a Director of Rental Therapy Operations for our Batesville, IN location. We offer an excellent compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including: competitive salary, 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and tuition reimbursement.
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Rental Therapy Operations will have responsibility for the establishment, management and execution of rental therapy business activities with key GPO and IDN accounts. Included in these responsibilities is overall financial management including meeting or exceeding financial and profitability targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Member of the Global Surfaces Management Team (Gizmo) which is a cross functional management team set up to manage Hill-Rom’s Global Surfaces and Therapy business.Management of internal Hill-Rom systems and processes around rental therapy customer demand analysis, and matching customer demand to product availability.Monitor overall profitability of key GPO and IDN accounts and recommend and implement interventions which will result in ongoing margin expansion in the rental therapy business.Partner closely with national accounts, sales, service and other relevant functions to define customer satisfaction metrics (equipment availability, delivery time…) and to manage Hill-Rom’s operational execution such that the enterprise meets or exceeds the predefined metrics.Join sales management team (VP Rental, DVPs, AVPs, National Accounts) during key GPO and IDN customer meetings to monitor Hill-Rom’s overall performance in meeting their clinical and commercial needs.Develop action plans to address areas of customer dissatisfaction and to systematically address issues raised by the customer and to manage these issues towards resolution. Management of commercial systems and processes around rental therapy customer demand analysis and matching customer demand to product availability.Define and develop processes for analyzing customer demand and matching the customer demand to the available rental therapy fleet.Identify portfolio and availability gaps where capital expenditure investment needs to be made to enhance the rental therapy fleet portfolio.Identify areas where the fleet can be rationalized and to systematically manage the process of fleet rationalization.Monitor overall profitability of key GPO and IDN accounts and recommend and implement interventions which will result in ongoing margin expansion in the rental therapy business.Closely monitor margin and cost associated with serving key GPO and IDN accounts.Identify continuous improvement, Lean or other cost out methods which would result in margin expansion of the overall business without compromising contractual/customer expectations.Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree Required, MBA or equivalent in marketing or business discipline preferred.Minimum 10 years relevant business experience in support surfaces or therapy rental field.Healthcare/medical device experience (preferably in support surfaces or therapy) required.Clinical/nursing experience a plus.Proven track record in operations, marketing and/or process/project management.Record of achievement of sales and market growth through effective customer selling/promotional strategies.Excellent presentation skills.Microsoft Office experience.Must be able to work independently and in team environment. Must be willing to travel.Exceptional Communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding planning and organization skills.Fluency in oral and written English; fluency in a second language is a plus.
