East Coast Regional Sales Manager - Medical Device Company

You have established yourself as a sales superstar, and are viewed as an industry expert in selling BioScience Products (BSP).  Mar Cor needs your energy, drive and industry knowledge to take them to the next level.  The Regional Sales Manager will sell within Mar Cor’s U.S. East Region, which consists of 17 states, and also includes Puerto Rico.  This is a great sales opportunity for someone experienced in managing distribution channels – coaching, developing and working with distributors.

Mar Cor’s BioScience Products include the following:  hollow fiber membrane filtration, cold sterilant products and dry fog equipment.  We deliver value to our customers by improving product quality, reducing operating costs, protecting capital investments and safeguarding people’s lives.

The Regional Sales Manager will focus on the following for his/ her region:Grow sales for all identified Direct End Users, OEM and Distributor accounts within the defined territory above the annual sales objectives.  This excludes Corporate Dialysis Accounts.  Sales and Technical support of heritage BSP accounts and distributors, providing technical and commercial support for these applicable products.Manage and train new and existing distributors, and cancel the non-performing distributors. Develop new channels for BSP products either with Distributors or OEM customers.  Secure distribution agreements where possible with these accounts.  Drive and promote Mar Cor Purification’s presence in the region, improving brand recognition where we currently do not have much visibility to the markets we serve. Accurate preparation of quotations and bid proposals. Provide weekly sales funnel/pipeline to the VP of Sales. Maintain accurate customer contact/visit reports. Any additional tasks as assigned by the VP of sales US.

 Qualifications:Experience in filtration and separation technologies for water and non-water applications in pharmaceutical, medical and biotech markets. Sterilant knowledge is preferred. 4-year college degree and 5 years of experience in managing distribution channels as well as working in the direct sales environment.  Sales experience in the water treatment equipment side of the business would be helpful.  Distribution Experience.  Experience running a territory and selling in a large territory.  Experience in selling water treatment equipment.
