Engineer, Field Service (Non- IT / medical equipment repair) Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics currently has openings for a Field Service Engineer.  The FSE is a key contributor in maintaining ongoing customer interaction to solve and prevent technical difficulties.  Primary roles are providing initial installation and instrument technical support for the products sold by Siemens.  The FSE is responsible for product service within a specified geographic territory.  The FSE is also responsible for all administrative duties of the position to include, but not limited to, inventory control, expense reporting, proper documentation of all service calls including preventative maintenance and installations.  This individual must also have good computer skills and be able to adapt to new software quickly.  The FSE must manage his/her time to complete all requested service in a prompt and efficient manner.  He/she must be a team player and have the ability to manage customer relationships to build trust and respect.  This individual must be able to provide service to customers during off hours as well as weekends when necessary.  A good driving record as well as a sound knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical devices is also required. Requirements include:  Minimum two year electronic degree or equivalent is required and 2-5 years of technical experience is preferred.  Electro-mechanical skills, computer skills, interpersonal skills, and professional attitude and appearance necessary.
