Engineering Program Managers, digital recording/archiving products & distribution systems for the OR

Image Stream Medical (ISM) designs, manufactures, and markets visualization and image management solutions for the Operating Room and special procedure clinics. Establishing a track-record of innovation, ISM introduced the first DVD burning surgical video recorder, video editing software for physicians that integrates with Power Point, simultaneous dual source recording capability, and now video-over-IP streaming from the OR. Our focus has provided us with the knowledge and expertise necessary to lead the way in digital image visualization and management solutions--now and into the future.

 

We are seeking 2 experienced Engineering Program Managers to be responsible for managing the activities of a large development program that has significant impact on core and new business development.  Working closely with other ISM departments, the Program Manager is expected to drive and manage the overall development and performance of projects within the program and be accountable for overall project results, developing metrics, and generating the detailed program plan/schedule while managing program resources, and monitoring and managing risks. Will also manage the Design History File and engineering documentation deliverables for the program.

 

BS/MS in Engineering (Biomedical, EE, ME or CS) and 10+ years of practical engineering experience including 8+ years of successful program management experience and medical device industry. Excellent planning and organizational, project management and time management skills are essential. Strong working knowledge of the FDA's Quality System Regulation (QSR), Medical Device Directives (MDD) and practical application through Design Control SOP's Verification and Validation testing necessary. Working knowledge of product development life cycles especially as they relate to the Agile or Iterative method is desired. Experience with video and familiarity with intellectual property considerations is a plus. Strong work ethic, high energy, ”do what it takes to get the job done” attitude along with good organizational and communications skills are essential to be successful here.
