Field Service Engineer-Houston

The Field Service Engineer will support the RF Technologies products and customer base via phone communication and on-site visitations. This individual will apply high-level skills, and developed advanced skills in procedures, customized computer software, utilizing commissioning techniques and tools.

 

This position will represent RF Technologies to our customer base and offer the highest level of customer service. The Field Service Engineer will also act as a consultant to the customer, advise on equipment upgrades, service agreements and warranties.

 EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

·  Minimum 3 years prior on the road, field service experience required.

·  Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting electronic/electrical systems, software, computer systems and installation related errors.

·  PC experience required and the ability to program software.

·  Demonstrated ability to work with difficult customers and provide excellent customer service.

·  Previous experience with RF control systems or security systems preferred.

·  Valid drivers license. Good driving record.

·  Must be available for up to 80% travel.

·  After proper training will be required to be on call to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.

·  A+ or MCSE Certification preferred.

 EDUCATION · Associates Degree in electronics, computer technology or similar field, or equivalent  three years experience within the industry.

 WORKING CONDITIONS

·  Travel within the region/states assigned to.

·  Sit for prolonged periods of time.

·  Work at a computer for prolonged periods of time.

·  Lift up to 50 pounds.

·  Climb ladders.

·  Work occasional long hours while still being able to stay focused.
