Field Service Engineer, Install and service our digital image management products

Image Stream Medical (ISM) designs, manufactures, and markets visualization and image management solutions for the Operating Room and special procedure clinics. Establishing a track-record of innovation, ISM introduced the first DVD burning surgical video recorder, video editing software for physicians that integrates with Power Point, simultaneous dual source recording capability, and now video-over-IP streaming from the OR. Our focus has provided us with the knowledge and expertise necessary to lead the way in digital image visualization and management solutions--now and into the future.

 

ISM is seeking a Field Service Engineer to be based in Littleton, to establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with our products, support and service.  Will be expected to respond to customer inquiries and maintain our excellent customer service reputation by complying with all regulatory requirements and all aspects of ISM quality system. 

 

Aspects of the position include: Install and service ISM products at customer locations.  Perform acceptance tests and provide basic end user trainingAssist the Technical Support Technician with escalated support calls providing troubleshooting skillsPerforms trial run of systems to ensure performance meets the established specifications Monitor internal and external software use and licensingPlatform development including definition, design, testing, installation and documentation of the OS platform that is used to operate ISM network products.Provide support at conventions, trade shows and customer trials

 

AAS/BS in electronics, computer science or related technical discipline is required. Working knowledge of networking, hospital information systems, and DICOM or PACS systems desirable.  You must be a self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision and be capable of multi-tasking, setting priorities and scheduling work activities. We will count on your ability to resolve problems, think analytically and communicate professionally in high pressure, time sensitive, customer environments. Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver’s license, carry adequate auto insurance and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is essential to this position. Strong work ethic, high energy, ”do what it takes to get the job done” attitude along with good organizational and communications skills are essential to be successful here.
