We are seeking an Associate Representative in Richmond, Virginia.

 

This is a ground-floor, entry-level opportunity as an associate in medical sales. In this position, you will assist a Senior Sales Representative as they call on Orthopedists in the office and operating room. 

 

Qualifications include:Bachelor’s Degree 0-4 years work experience Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology Understanding of surgical settings Sales and/or athletic training experience a plus Records of achievement on resume Excellent listening skills with a ability to learn quickly Valid driver’s license in good standing Proficient computer skills You must live within the Richmond area – no relocation available



First year information:  During the training and probationary period we offer a base pay of $2000 per month plus a bonus of up to $1000 per month as training objectives are met.  The training period will last between 6-12 months.  Following the training and probationary period we offer 7% commission on base sales throughout the territory and 15% on all sales above the business plan.  Average first year compensation is in the mid-$30K range.

 

Note:  Sales Representatives with SportsSource Orthopedics enter into an Independent Contractor Agreement and are considered self-employed by the Internal Revenue Service.  Therefore, Contractor assumers all responsibility for income tax payments, benefits, and insurance. 

 

DePuy Mitek does require its contractors to be trained and certified in Health Care Compliance and OR Protocol, which SportsSource will oversee during the training and probationary period.
