Global Marketing Manager II

Our client is a global medical device company with operations in 35 countries. The company markets clinically superior products, principally in orthopaedics, endoscopy, and advanced wound management. Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible and accountable for strategic development, management, growth, profitability and sales of assigned franchise and associated product lines globally.  Responsibilities include: providing learning and insight into product organization for new product development and existing product enhancements; driving team participation in the product development process; developing full profiles of customer segments, needs, attitudes, motivators, as well as financials, revenue, products brought, including making recommendations with regard to which market segments to pursue to increase market share; executing the implementation of go-to-market activities including pre-launch activities, product launches, rollout plans, introductions, promotions, and surgeon training; establishing and maintaining forecast and pricing for assigned product lines; participating in setting and managing inventory requirements for assigned product lines in addition overseeing VIP/Customer interface events and professional meeting support. Successful candidates must have these minimum capabilities to be considered for this position:  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business or Marketing required; MBA preferred; at least 5 years of medical device marketing or closely related experience; 2 – 5 years of orthopaedic experience preferred; broad marketing and sales discipline experience from areas that include product management, advertising, market research, strategy development, channel management, sales, sales management, sales training, and sales operations; medical device industry experience necessary; market relevant strategy and implementation background strongly preferred; working knowledge of fundamental finance and segment level accounting principles; capability to evaluate complex situations and develop a strategic plan; ability to prioritize and manage daily workflow as well as being able to multi-task; ability to travel 25% to 40%. Qualified candidates please reference position 1162 when submitting your resume to Tammi at search@lakecitygroup.com or fax 574-371-2535.  Resumes should be in Microsoft Word format in order to be uploaded into our database.  Please visit http://www.lakecitygroup.com/ and read our Statement of Confidentiality.  Once you have sent your resume, please complete our Career Planning Guide on our web site.
