Verathon® - Global Service Center Coordinator
Verathon® (formerly Diagnostic Ultrasound Corporation) designs, manufactures and distributes reliable, state-of-the-art medical devices and services that offer a meaningful improvement in patient care to the health care community. The company is headquartered in Bothell, Washington.
We are looking for a Global Service Center Coordinator to become the newest member of the Technical Services Team located in our Bothell, WA headquarters. This position acts as the single point of contact at Verathon Inc. for all Global Service Centers. The key objective for the successful candidate is to coordinate and maintain the Global Service Center Program with the Company’s Subsidiaries and Distributors worldwide, including Verathon Inc.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Provide hands-on repair training for Global Service Centers
· Enhance existing turnkey toolkit for Service Center program including:
– Writing manuals, work instructions and procedures
– Service Center Website
– Presentation materials
– On-line training and testing
· Provide Customer Care B2B function for Service Centers
· Provide support to existing global operations including:
– issuing Return Authorizations
– Order Entry/Processing for spare parts, test fixtures and service materials.
· Work with Director of Global Technical Services to roll-out new product service plans.
· Define procedures for relationship between Verathon, its partners and our end users world wide
· Establish and maintain audit schedule and metrics to measure performance of Service Centers
· Operational areas include service level compliance, SOP adherence, training, reporting, work force management, telecom, networking, event management, and the deployment of new products, services, tools and procedures to our support partners worldwide.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Global perspective and sales/marketing orientation.
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
· Demonstrated superior technical process writing ability.
· International travel for 1-2 weeks at a time required. Estimate up to 30%.
· Multiple language skills a plus.
· Self-motivated, analytical problem solver who is able to sell and support the Global Service Center concept.
· Must be able to create service programs and document them via policies and procedures.
· This individual must be an exceptional communicator, work with minimal supervision and manage a team.
