Help Desk Technician

Doctor Diabetic Supply, Inc. is a rapidly growing, technology-driven healthcare distribution company.  Our business model is based on a systems-driven platform of marketing, sales, customer service, and billing.  We are seeking a talented Helpdesk Technician.

 

Since its inception in 2001, Doctor Diabetic has experienced exceptional growth.  In 2005, our revenue increased 180%.  Based in midtown Miami, the company currently occupies 4 buildings totaling 17,000 square feet. Our IT Systems are the core around which our business continues to flourish.

 

We are looking for analytical, entrepreneurial, and motivated team-players with the knowledge, inspiration and expertise to facilitate our continued growth.  Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Desktop Administration.Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop computer systems and peripherals. Building and configuring new desktop systems for deployment. Managing client software testing/implementation. Providing desktop build documentation for testing/implementation. Supporting End-users via telephone and on-site. Assisting Systems Administrator staff when appropriate. Documenting End-user inquiries. ASP, MS SQL, JavaScript, HTML experience.

 

Requirements:

 Three-plus years experience in Desktop/Helpdesk support. Knowledge of Windows XP Pro.Knowledge of ASP, MS SQL, JavaScript, HTML. Knowledge of MS Office 2003 Professional Edition. Knowledge of Internet Explorer with SSL encryption. Experience in configuring desktop network connectivity, TCP/IP, IPX. Experienced in hardware and software installations, as well as general configuration issues. Strong oral and written communication skills essential. Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision.
