IC Territory Manager- Raleigh, NC

BASIC FUNCTION:
Works without significant direction, planning and organizing own activities. Primary sales contact with customers for the sale of company product. Responsible for the coordination of all sales, training and service needed by customers.

ORGANIZATION LOCATION:
These positions are typically found in the sales organization. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge necessary to perform at this level is generally acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years sales experience.
· Sound understanding of sales strategies and philosophies.
· Demonstrated sales techniques and selling skills.
· Demonstrated negotiating skills.
· Good interpersonal skills required.
· Basic computer knowledge required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Sales Achievement - generate necessary sales to meet or exceed sales goals and achieve appropriate sales prices. Meet appropriate contribution margins. Track and analyze progress.
· Territory Management - prioritize accounts to determine coverage, assess opportunity and develop new business. Coordinate and manage resources to provide necessary customer service. Prepare weekly and monthly plans, track and analyze progress and trends, and prepare annual territory sales plan.
· Account Management - maintain account/customer profiles and account plans for key accounts. Keep up and renew contracts. Develop consultative role to manage customer-training needs, facilitate relationship building and provide necessary customer service. Track and analyze progress.
· Learn and maintain Pivotal (CRM) customer database with contact information and sales data.
· Learn and maintain how to use Miller Heiman green and blue on our customers. · Maintain a positive and proactive approach to problem solving.
· Selling - plan and make sales calls to achieve sales goals. Evaluate and re-plan future contacts.
· Administration/Internal Communications - manage budget and expenses, adhere to company policies and communicate effectively with corporate and field personnel.
· Personal and Professional Development - continuously increase and sharpen therapy and technical knowledge as well as selling, negotiating and presentation skills.
· Responsible for being able to conduct and in-service on our product line.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Focuses on achieving sales plan within territory.
· Focuses on staying within capacity costs within territory.
· Manage territory and customers as a business.
· Learns skills necessary to in-service equipment and disposable products.
· Assumes responsibility of knowing specifics on all customer contracts.
· Assumes responsibility of maintaining customer database for territory.
· Assumes responsibility of turning in all required written reports on a timely basis.
· Coordinates with Regional Sales Manager on any customer visits.
· Participates in sales meetings within region.
· Adheres to company policies and procedures. Education: Bachelors DegreeJob Level: 1-3 Years
