IC Therapy Specialist
BASIC FUNCTION:
Working without significant direction delivers customer focused training, provides complex problem solving services, and the promotion and growth of CEBT in a field environment.
ORGANIZATION LOCATION:
This position is typically found in sales, support, or marketing organizations. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge necessary to perform at this level is generally acquired through a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and five years clinical experience, preferably in Critical Care and CEBT environment.
· Demonstrated ability to take a positive, proactive, confrontive approach to solving complex and/or unusual clinical or technical problems.
· Demonstrated ability to start new therapy programs.
· Strong, demonstrated expertise in product and therapy knowledge.
· Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, proactive, customer service manner with customers during stressful situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides therapy, technical and operation consultation to hemodialysis contract services and hospitals utilizing the Prisma System during implementation and post-implementation phases for IC product lines.
· Provides excellent project management using appropriate tools for effective organization of the implementation process from the pre-sales phase to the on-going post implementation phase.
· Conduct on-site customer training.
· Manage telephone calls from customer support programs.
· Achieves a defined minimum level of technical and professional knowledge of hemodialysis contract services and hospital operations. Keeps current with developments and trends in the Continuous Extracorporeal Blood Therapy industry. Assists customer teams in policy, procedure, and protocol development.
· Works in a consultative manner with customers and in collaboration with other IC team members to ensure a successful implementation process at customer sites while supporting the goals of the IC business.
· Interacts as a field expert with other functional areas in the company to develop a thorough exchange of planning information between our customer and these business areas.
· Analyze therapy trends in the marketplace. Communicate this market knowledge effectively to provide detailed input/feedback to IC Business/Marketing Management and IC Sales Teams.
· Assist IC TM in developing therapy/product growth in existing Prisma Accounts.
· Identify and solve complex and or unusual customer problems in a timely manner
· Assist in clinical trials, to include site selection, training of site participants and performing some clinical monitoring.
· Perform ongoing market assessment of customers' technical and therapy needs.
· Document and provide written solutions to recurring problems for client use incorporating use of corporate label approval policies.
· Transfers knowledge of implementation process to other areas of the company, i.e. sales, marketing and others.
· Supports development of implementation materials, documentation and labeling with IC subject matter experts and marketing managers (including regulatory and validation support tools
· Develops and uses collaborative relationship to facilitate the accomplishment of business goals with both internal (sales) and external customers.
· Sets up the process to collect and review information needed to manage the implementation process.
· Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that promotes growth of CEBT within an organization.
· Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea from our customers. Builds rapport demonstrates confidence and capability and gains commitment of our customers.
· Effectively meets or exceeds customer needs; builds productive customer relationships; takes responsibility for customers satisfaction and loyalty.
· Special projects as assigned.
· Delivers CEBT presentations at local and regional critical care/nephrology conferences as needed.
· Requires the ability to travel with appropriate tools and/or resources to perform responsibilities (i.e. laptop computer, etc).
· May be required to push dialysis equipment, which is on wheels, from one location to another, and be able to lift up to 25lbs in solutions and accessories.
· May be required to lift Prisma machine into vehicle - approximately 50lbs.
· May be required to use load/unload tool to load and unload Prismaflex into and out of company vehicle.
· May be required to maneuver Prismaflex into a storage place when not in use where the temperature will not go below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Education: Bachelors DegreeJob Level: 5-8 Years
