IT Project Manager - Finance & Marketing

Position Description:
This position combines technical savvy, business knowledge and leadership to deliver effective and efficient technology solutions to the MEDRAD organization. Specifically, this position will be responsible for the planning and delivery of projects that provide business value to the organization. This position will be primarily aligned with MEDRAD’s Finance organization. Key responsibilities include: 1. Plan, Lead and coordinate IT and process improvement projects related to the Finance area. This includes resource and task planning, budget development and tracking and overall project management. 2. Manage and participate in project lifecycle activities including requirements definition, design, system configuration, testing, user acceptance, training, and deployment. It is expected that this individual will have the ability to both manage projects as well as deliver technical components of projects. 3. Provide input into the IT strategy and project prioritization for the Finance organization. This includes developing business cases and feasibility studies related to potential initiatives. Technical / Behavioral Requirements1. Bachelor`s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Engineering with at least six years overall experience. 2. Demonstrated project management, project planning and change implementation skills, with a solid history of project success. 3. SAP configuration experience, specifically in FI/CO and SEM required. 4. Proven abilities to design, architect, develop and deploy large scale, complex systems in support of cross-functional processes. 5. Experience in medical device manufacturing, or a regulated industry is preferred. 6. Proven internal/external customer focus along with high performance orientation, adaptability, and continuous innovation and improvement skills. 7. Ability to successfully manage and motivate high-performing project teams. 8. Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills, along with cross-functional collaboration/teamwork skills.9. Familiarity with SAP’s Business Warehouse (BW) or another Business Intelligence tool is preferred. 10. Experienced in SAP ERP 5.0 or higher and/or BI Integrated planning preferred. 11. Experienced in implementing SAP multiple times in multiple configurations preferred.12. Position requires hands-on approach to implementations, i.e., ideal candidate must be willing to perform configuration tasks, prepare documentation (configuration, testing and support), conduct training sessions and participate in issue resolution.
