Position Title: Information Systems Assistant

Responsibilities

As Information Systems Assistant, you will provide first level hands on computer support to the end users in an administration environment. You will set up and perform maintenance on company computers as directed.  You will perform analyses of computer and/or software problems and make necessary repairs and corrections.  You will provide end users with computer training and support on various programs and set up and maintain documentation of existing computer systems.  You will be expected to take on other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

 To qualify for this position you need:



· High school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred.

· At least one or two years in related work experience is preferred.

· Areas of knowledge should include: networks, database structures and desktop applications.

· Knowledge in PC hardware troubleshooting/configuration.

· Problem solving, decision making, and good communication skills required.

· Ability to quickly pick up on new technologies.

· Highest ethical and credibility standards.

· Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others, while keeping corporate direction.

· Ability to sit for long periods working with a computer. Some bending and lifting is also required to perform the essential job functions.

· Langer’s Deer Park employees must pass background check and drug screening.
