Inside Sales Account Executive - Trauma & Spine

INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE TRAUMA & SPINE WHO WE ARE: Ossur North America, a Global Orthopaedics Company, is a powerful presence in the medical community.  Ossur provides Bionic technology, prosthetics, and Braces and Supports to help patients live “Life Without Limitations”. In the last few years, Ossur has evolved into a major orthopaedics business via a number of very successful acquisitions that have complemented the company’s organic growth and broadened its horizons.BASIC FUNCTION: Inside Account Executives are responsible for selling Ossur products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products and services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.  Responsible for maintaining sales volume from existing customers as well as generating incremental growth and new business development via the telephone. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Makes outbound sales calls to existing and potential customers to develop relationships and generate revenue.Following up on sales leads and making cold calls to potential customers.Conduct sales presentations and product demos via the telephone and Internet.Closing sales and meeting monthly objectives in accordance with sales development plan.Maintain number of calls, phone time and number of contacts in accordance with activity goals. Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.Participate in new product launch activities.Answer technical and product related questions from customers and prospects.Maintain product knowledge by actively participating in ongoing training and development.Resolving problems with products and services encountered by the customer.Working with operations and research and development staff to establish a clear path of communication with the customer.Maintaining and generating reports and sales forecastingOther duties as assigned.

 



KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

· 1 – 2 years experience in a sales role.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent presentation skills.

· Strong work ethic.

· Professional demeanor.

· Sales and goal oriented.

· Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet.

· Demonstrates good judgment and decision making skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

· Ability to learn and understand products and terminology.
