As a key member of Intuitive Surgical based in Sunnyvale, California, you will be tasked with managing and developing a desiginated territory where selling is your main mission. Leadership and organizational skills will be crucial as a member of this newly formed department. You will drive the da Vinci Surgical Robot capital equipment upgrades, instrument sales and yearly service contract renewals within an existing customer install base. Your prior success with inside or outside sales to medical professionals in an operating room environment will allow you to quickly build the rapport needed to guide our valued customers through continued product enhancements and upgrades. Surgical robotics was little more than a medical curiosity until 1999, the year Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISRG) introduced the da Vinci Surgical System. We have been serving customers globally providing technology and procedural innovation across cardiac, urology, gynecologic, pediatric and general surgical disciplines. In June 2000, Intuitive Surgical conducted a successful initial public offering. In 2003, the company acquired its principal competitor Computer Motion, strengthening its intellectual property holdings. Today, over 700 da Vinci Systems are installed in hospitals worldwide and we currently have exclusive rights to over 350 U.S. and foreign patents, as well as patents pending.

As our Inside Sales Representative your first task will be to take over the upgrade of sales and service contract renewals for existing customers in your assigned territory. As our department continues to expand we will call on your past experience with trade show and inbound lead qualification and new lead generation. Experience with selling large ticket items for medical capital equipment companies will ensure your smooth transition into our fast paced world of surgical robotics. Ultimately, your success will come from your flexible "can-do" attitude and self motivation to reach your full commission potential while impacting the way surgery is performed around the world. Since you will be communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, polished written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively articulate our value proposition.
