We currently have an opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join us! 

 

Responsibilities :

§ Plan objectives and scope of financial and operational audits.

§ Perform all aspects of audits, including collecting and analyzing evidence, preparing accurate work papers, and writing audit reports in accordance with the IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework.

§ Identify and assess risk to evaluate and improve underlying processes and internal controls.

§ Document and test internal controls for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley using a SOX software package.

§ Practice the Corporate Culture: be highly professional and a company team player.

§ Domestic and international travel required, approximately 20%.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

§ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

§ CPA or CIA, or working towards such designation encouraged and preferred.

§ Two years auditing experience with a public accounting firm or internal auditing with a Fortune 500 company preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

§ Familiarity with all phases of an audit including planning, analysis and report writing.

§ Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.

§ Conform to the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Code of Ethics.

§ Ability to build effective working relationships with company personnel at all levels.

§ Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

§ Knowledge of SAP and audit electronic work papers preferred.

§ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
