Hygenic Corporation, is seeking an International Sales Manager for its  headquarters, located in Akron, Ohio.  The Hygenic Corporation is the leading manufacturer and marketer of branded healthcare and fitness products for the rehabilitation, therapy, and professional wellness markets. Through its Performance Health portfolio of market leading products---including Thera-Band®,,  Biofreeze® , and Prossage brands--- Hygenic is the number one provider of product solutions to physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, podiatrists, and licensed massage therapists.

 

The International Sales Manager will manage and maintain relationships with authorized International Dealers for all assigned products to ensure the Company’s annual revenue goals are met.  This requires the ability to effectively interface with external customers, clinicians and various departments within the Company.

 

He/She will participate in the formulation and implementation of short-term and annual territory and channel management plans and objectives to increase Company sales and profitability,  and manage and maintain a network of authorized retail and professional market Dealers outside the United States for the purpose of increasing export sales.

 

The qualified candidate will--

- Work closely with management in Dealer organizations to develop annual sales and component projections that are updated quarterly. Track quarterly Dealer out-sales and inventory levels. Ensure that Company products receive the proper Dealer marketing focus and resources to maximize sales through retail and/or professional market distribution as appropriate. Expand distribution opportunities by recruiting new Dealers and working with Dealers to register products in selected countries.

 

-Ensure effective implementation of product marketing and advertising strategies, as well as sampling and promotion programs to help Dealers reach and exceed their sales goals. Manage and monitor Dealer catalog and website presence to maximize the visibility of Company products.

 

-Develop a broad base of knowledge about Company products and their clinical application. Ensure Dealers have access to package and container artwork, graphic images, label copy and comply with Company trademark policy and Authorized Dealer Guidelines. Reinforce the brand identity and quality reputation of Company products to effectively communicate position, and sustain differential advantages vs. competitive product offerings. 

 

-Analyze indicators of territory and Dealer business performance (e.g. sales vs. forecast, actual vs. plan average selling price, mix, inventory turns, and other relevant indicators), identify and assess potential areas of concern for assigned products. Recommend proactive and remedial strategies/tactics as needed to assure attainment of annual Dealer and territory sales plan.

 

-Attend key regional and/or industry trade events to maintain and support the Company’s authorized Dealer distribution network. Interact with clinician groups and consumers that use and recommend Company products and report on market trends to ensure Company management maintains a high level of awareness of market opportunities as well as competitive activities.

 

-Work with other Company departments to promptly resolve billing or payment issues. Respond as necessary to assure timely and efficient resolution of short-term product and/or shipping issues.

 

 

-Work with the R&D team to conceptualize and recommend new product ideas, product line extensions, as well as new product design and packaging. Identify new industry tends and emerging technologies to increase the Company’s market competitiveness and profitability.

 

-Represent Hygenic/Performance Health in a courteous and professional manner to promote the Company’s image to its target audience by striving to meet and exceed customer expectations.

 

If you have the above qualifications, and possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with 5 to 10 year’s of related experience selling in International markets, and are willing to travel the US as well as Internationally, please submit your Resume’ for consideration.
