Inventory Analyst - Distribution

At ev3 we’re committed to developing innovative endovascular technologies for coronary, peripheral and neurological applications. Creative, competent people with a passion for enhancing healthcare around the globe have driven our success. Join us as we grow by making a meaningful difference.    We are currently seeking a Inventory Analyst - Distribution.  This position is responsible for performing inventory control functions and analyses for the distribution center. Responsible for conducting cycle count, transaction analyses, and implementing corrective actions. Responsible for maintaining documentation and files of inventory records, and reporting findings to management. Responsible for providing feedback to management regarding transaction errors, corrective actions and process improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct cycle count transactions in accordance with ev3 policies and procedures. • Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform transaction analyses; make correcting entries. • Manage expired/expiring inventory transactions and physical containment. • Manage transactions and physical containment of stop ship, NCMR and other inventory holds. • Prepare monthly facility metrics on transaction volumes and trend analyses. • Prepare documentation and reports of inventory results for executive management, internal and external audit. Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses. • Provide backup for other distribution functions: receiving, shipping, returns and repack. • Coordinate with other ev3 functions such as IT, Finance, Customer Service, Quality Systems and Planning in order to complete assigned tasks. • Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may lock warehouse and set alarms. • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. • Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards and the ev3 Code of Conduct. • Other duties as assigned or required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or supply chain preferred • Minimum 2 years college or Associate Degree with coursework in business and accounting • APICS certification in Supply Chain Management a “plus” Experience: • 2+ years of experience working with inventory transactions, preferably in a warehouse environment • Strong analytical skills. Must be proficient in Excel, using imported data to prepare transaction analysis, investigate discrepancies, prepare facility metrics and present information in report and graph format. Other Skills and Abilities: • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to read and write in English. • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel. • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment. • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods. • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (8) hours per day.
