Logistics Support Specialist I

We invite you to join TAMS and become part of our Toshiba family.In this position you will reconcile the daily inventory logistics issues for Service Parts; Manage a high volume of inventory located with a third party vendor with 29 stocking locations; Match of computer and physical inventories between the vendor and TAMS is done on a daily basis; Execute timely inbound and outbound transactions to ensure correct invoicing on work orders or invoices; Run aging intransit reports and reconcile; Conduct cycle counts and the annual physical inventory; Coordinate the stocking and shipping on demand of test equipment; Assist in the shipping of large and heavy items that need special handling or expediting and work with the logistics vendor to drive quality improvements, increased service levels and reduced expenses.

Qualifications:

Requires minimum four years inventory system managementRequires computerized inventory experience - preferably in a service environmentStrong interpersonal skills including relationship building, negotiation skills and strong diplomacyAbility to work in a fast paced, mission critical environmentDetail oriented, multiple task handling and good organizational skills Basic computer skills utilizing MS office products
