Machine Operator - Level II

Keystone Dental’s mission is to provide innovative, safe, efficacious and cost-effective solutions for tooth replacement therapy, with patient care as our first goal and ultimate responsibility. We are based in Burlington, Massachusetts.

We are currently seeking a Level II Machine Operator with the following qualifications:

Position Summary:

Machine operators manufacture components and finished devices using manual and CNC machines.  Manufacture product under the Keystone quality system requirements to meet both internal and external customer expectations for quality, on-time delivery and cost effectiveness.

 

Responsibilities:Set up and operate some jobs on Citizen CNC equipment using set-up sheets, routers and blueprints.Operate CNC equipment with minimal supervision.  Inspect work with minimal assistance.Set up and operate most jobs on manual machines.Perform all offset adjustments to maintain dimensional integrity.  Assess and trouble shoot set ups and programs when required.Train other machinists on CMC machining techniques and proper inspection methods.Use advanced shop math to assist in all aspects of the job.Complete all applicable documentation as required.Maintain prescribed machine logs.Comply with work rules including those pertaining to safety, environment and quality systems.

 Education and Experience:

· Must demonstrate strong team skills and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

· Position requires a high school diploma or GED.

· 3 to 7 years CNC and manual machining experience.

· Ability to read prints and operation sheets.

· Ability to understand CNC programs.

· Strong knowledge of typical inspection equipment and techniques.

· Strong knowledge of shop math.  Basic understanding of geometric tolerances.

· Meet ISO/cGMP requirements.

· Complete all job specific required training.

· Basic computer skills.

 Ability to work under a microscope.Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures. Working with cutting & machining fluids, solvents, lubricants and other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controls.Lifting up to 50 pounds.Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion.
