Manager, Mechanical Engineering

PolyRemedy, Inc. has an open full-time position of Manager, Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical design team leader responsibility for the specification, design, testing, and transfer to manufacturing of new medical robotic equipment. Responsible for the development of technical project plans and schedules covering all mechanical engineering activities, including design control.

The ideal candidate would have a B.S., M.S. or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years experience in the following areas:

Hands-on experience of managing interdisciplinary teams resulting in a proven track record in schedule and budget performance in the process of bringing new products into production.

Complete product life cycle experience - architecture, engineering, transfer manufacturing, and stringent QA goals

Broad practical knowledge of varied manufacturing and assembly processes. Demonstrated familiarity in manufacturing processes such as injection molding and sheet metal enclosure fabrication.

Experienced user of SolidWorks and PDM.

Working experience with quality control procedures including ISO 9000.

Personally organized, can take direction, manage multiple tasks and budget, meet schedules.

Salary:  $130,000-150,000/Year per experience and work history, Stock options.
