Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a strong accounting background, superb financial acumen, and demonstrable systems knowledge. The ability to interact effectively with financial, operational and executive colleagues at all levels within the organization is another key success factor.  RESPONSIBILITIES:   Work with all ev3 operational and corporate functions to develop fiscal year budget plans; incorporate these plans into roll up for company wide goal setting purposes Monitor fiscal year budget plans and provide necessary analysis/reports including plan vs. actual variance analysis; develop reforecast plans as necessary Accurately load budget plans into planning systems Develop metrics and benchmarks to assess ev3 financial performance Manage working capital and capital expenditure planning activities Manage planning analyst Develop long term-strategic financial plans Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards and the ev3 Code of Conduct.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Education:  · Four year accounting and/or finance degree · CPA a plus   Experience:  · Five to ten years relevant experience · Excellent financial analysis and accounting background · Previous planning exposure and managerial experience preferred     Other skills: · Ability to manage several projects at the same time. · Extensive experience in Microsoft products; Excel expertise mandatory · Familiarity and expertise with ERP and planning systems particularly beneficial, especially Cognos and QAD
