A privately owned medical device manufacturer has an immediate opening for a qualified Manufacturing Design Engineer for their artificial limb division located in Edison, NJ.

 

The person selected for this position will be responsible for machine and tooling design and implementation using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.  Other responsibilities in this position include training production operators, ensuring a safe and controlled operating environment, providing project budgets and budgets, writing protocols/SOPs, and supporting the installation of new equipment and processes.

 

To succeed in this position, you will bring a BSME and 10+ years experience in manufacturing/engineering – including experience in a medical device environment.  You will be familiar with FDA GMP requirements, ISO 9000 Standards, and OSHA regulations, and you will be competent in writing protocol in an environment that adheres to such standards.
