 Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanical

The individual selected for this key role will prepare and process documentation, provide manufacturing technical assistance, and hands-on engineering support to facilitate a timely resolution to manufacturing performance issues. Will also be responsible for specification, management, installation and validation of minor and mid range capital equipment purchases. Additional duties include: optimizing production machinery by tuning the performance of existing equipment and process parameters, applying sound troubleshooting methodologies and supporting production performance data collection initiatives.


The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience. Machine/Tooling design experience and a familiarity with electrical/electronic systems and PLC technologies is a plus. Regulatory and GMP knowledge preferred. Must be proficient on a PC with knowledge in all MS Office applications and AutoCAD.  Ability to work on complex mechanical systems and sustain production maintenance systems is required.
