Job Description Marcom Intern The person in this position will be responsible for assisting with a variety of projects in the marketing communications department, including maintaining the content, design and functionality of the Thermo Fisher web site; assist in the development of marketing communications tools including product literature, newsletters, press releases and customer events; creating and maintaining reports from various databases for public relations, direct marketing, web site activity and sales tracking activities; and other miscellaneous projects that arise. Work hours will be full-time during school breaks and part-time (approx. 15-20 hours/week) while school is in session. Previous intern experience a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Power Point, Word) is essential; basic knowledge of HTML and Adobe Acrobat desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to multitask. Requires a commitment thru May 2009.Job Level: Intern/Co-op
