Responsibility and Authority:

 

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of all material and products, maintaining an accurate inventory, and performing the required transactions to document the activities in MFG/PRO. The position requires extensive knowledge of International Import and Export rules, regulations, and the required documentation associated with these shipments.

 

 

Scope of Duties / Job Description:

 

· Must have understanding of import/export processes as it applies to shipping and receiving of materials.

· Prepare complete and appropriate import and export documentation for shipping. Preparing bills of lading, SEDs, Country of Origins, and any other export documents to ensure the deliveries are correctly executed.

· Shipping and receiving of all materials entering or exiting the building.

· Receive, document and process all field returned devices in a timely fashion to expedite complaint handing efforts. 

· Maintaining shipping, receiving and finished goods areas in a clean and orderly fashion.

· Shipping product, accessories and supplies accurately to customers.

· Performing work order data entry, maintenance and reversals/corrections.

· Monitor and replenish Manufacturing inventory locations.

· Perform material transfers and their appropriate data entry activities.

· Active involvement of all cycle counting and physical inventories and generation of applicable documentation/reports.

· Package final product per written specification.

· Maintain inventory records.

· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

· Comply with written company policies and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Education / Training:

 

· High School diploma or equivalent work experience.

· Ability to effectively write and read English.

· Proficiency in basic mathematical skills.

· Proficient in MS Excel, and MS Word

 

 

Other Requirements: 

 

· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.

· Ability to perform activities to support product development, administration, manufacturing, and other company activities or other duties as assigned.
