Office Operation Manager and Executive Assistant

SHOW IKA AMERICA is a company in the medical device development and distribution industry.  We specifically deal with orthopaedic implants and instruments for the spine.  Our parent company, Showa Ika, was founded over 30 years ago in Japan.  Showa Ika has now expanded to the global market and created our company, SHOWA IKA AMERICA. 

 

SHOW IKA AMERICA is seeking a highly motivated, career oriented, highly organized, friendly, person as an Office Operations Manager and Executive Assistant.  The duties of this job include:  

 

·        Clerical responsibilities    

·        Answering phones and directing calls   

·        Document control such as Invoices, POs and governmental documents    

·        Preparation of shipments of medical devices and other products   

·        Receipt shipments of medical devices and other products   

·        Ability to learn the business quickly in order to resolve customer needs   

·        Inspection of medical devices for quality control    

·        Assisting company executives    

·        Maintaining general office needs  

·        Managing some staff

 

Those interested should have the following skills to perform the duties listed above  

 

·        Proficiency with computers especially Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point), QuickBooks and other software

·        Friendly and personable demeanor   

·        Able to lift a box weighing 40 to 50 lbs    

·        Superb attention to detail     

·        Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy    

·        Exceptional organizational skills    

·        Assertiveness    

·        Ability to anticipate needs without having to be told   

·        Able to work independently   

·        A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.  We will also consider some with significant applicable experience.
