Job Title: Outside Sales/Key Account Sales Consultant

 

Key Account Sales Consultants are the most important part of our successful sales team.  They are the face that our customers see and are responsible for developing a strong and long lasting relationship with our customers.  A successful Key Account Sales Consultant delivers volume, sales, and increased growth by developing and implementing effective sales and business development plans for the accounts in their territory.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

· Achieve superior account penetration to deliver breakthrough results

· Develop sales plans with key account decision makers to increase product line offerings while increasing profit and sales for the account

· Work with your Sales Manager to ensure all plans are aligned with Somadyn goals and objectives

· Create a positive impression of our product lines by displaying industry and brand knowledge

· Develop strong long lasting relationships with key account decision makers

· Constantly identify, develop and penetrate new business

 

Core Qualities/Skills Needed:

 

· Self Motivated- must have the ability to work in an environment with little supervision

· Ability to see the “Big Picture”- looks beyond the present and sees a clear vision of what can be achieved

· The ability to develop in depth executable plans that establish clear expectations and deliver dynamic results

· Must have an understanding of fundamental business practices, the marketplace, and knowledge of competitive products and brands

· Listen to, learn, understand, anticipate and respond to the needs and motivations of customers and business owners

· Must act as an owner of their business and hold themselves responsible for the results

· Ability to overcome objection and rejection

 

Successful Candidates Must Possess:

 

· Excellent organizational Skills

· Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal

· Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet

· Must have a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance

· Ability to drive  and travel long distances for extended periods

· Responsible for all equipment and product provided by Somadyn (Laptop Computer, and Sample product)

· Outside sales experience and account management experience a plus

· Traveling is required for this position; approximately 40% out of town travel.  This may vary depending on the territory

 

Compensation/Salary

 

  Somadyn offers a very aggressive compensation plan.  A base salary is provided along with one of the most aggressive sales incentive structure in our industry.  A full benefit package is offered as well.  Some of the benefits offered include health insurance, Christmas club, vacation, sick time, and employee discounts on the merchandise we stock.
