Patient Accounts / Customer Service Rep
Fast growing Lexington/Waltham based firm is seeking a Patient Accounts /Customer Service Rep to join their team. Ideal candidate will have 1 - 7 years experience in Customer Service, working with insurance providers. Person will work in a team of 5-6 people and report to both the Supervisor and Director.
Person will be responsible for obtaining insurance authorizations, speaking with Case Managers, insurance reps, and patients, resolution of payments, working denials, EOB’s, writing appeal letters, follow-up calls to insurance providers, and billing data entry.
Ideal person will have a friendly, team-oriented personality in a fast paced environment. Experience in medical, Doctor's office, healthcare, hospital, health insurance background is desired.
Salary is $17 - 20/hr base salary, plus bonus ($5K). ($45K++ total compensation).
