Payroll Specialist

For additional information, please visit www.amo-inc.com  Performs a variety of statistical tasks and clerical duties required to prepare bi-weekly payroll data for computer input. Reviews timekeeping records, processes exceptions and verifies discrepancies with supervisors and managers. Maintains integrity of payroll by processing all pay in accordance with labor code and company policy. Responds to inquiries form employees and state agencies regarding deductions, calculations, garnishments, employment verifications and changes in compensation.  Displays excellent Customer Service skills in all dealings. Process special pays including bonus, vacation, termination and others as required. Maintain employee records in SAP HRIS. Reconciles pay-data against pay register. Prepares and post general ledger entries for all payrolls processed. Makes sure checks are distributed properly in accordance with company policy. Other duties as assigned by Payroll Manager High School or Equivalent; Some College Preferred Minimum 4 years multi-state payroll processing experience FCP or CPP preferred Proficient in MS Office Applications, especially Excel required. Kronos, ProBusiness and SAP experience a plus Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
