Point of Care (POC) Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Point of Care (POC) Marketing Manager would be primarily responsible for the conception, development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies to increase sales of POC instruments in physician offices.  Also responsible for sales and marketing strategies and collateral development to support the PSS’s for Sanvita.

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Conceptualizes and develops marketing strategies to support Sanvita  new business initiatives and Annual Operating Plan

· In conjunction with the Creative Manager, responsible for the development of promotional or collateral materials to promote instrument sales and reagent sales in the field at the PSS level.

· Works with other departments to coordinate successful implementation of new promotions

· Works with Customer Service to conduct any training and warranty fulfillment processes

· Coordinates and oversees the timely flow of projects from conception through completion

· Regularly communicates status of all projects by means of weekly meetings, status reports, and daily updates

· Generates and analyses reports, tracks marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

· Identifies problems or improvements within own area, develop resourceful/alternative solutions for work improvement or problem solution

· Maintains a positive and professional attitude

· Keeps current on our industry and market

· Follows all Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance regulations and requirements Actively participates in Continuous Quality Improvement

· Demonstrates thoroughness with all work related activities. Strives to continually improve quality and productivity results displayed by Marketing Personnel on an ongoing basis

· Maintains scheduling flexibility to ensure availability to meet the needs of the department for all hours of operation

· Abides by all policies, procedures, and protocols set forth within departmental, CCS Medical Personnel and Administrative Policy Manuals

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY

 

Control of Costs: Negotiates pricing with various vendors

Budgets: Performs essential job duties within an annually elected budgetQuality Control: Responsible for the creation and supervision of the creation and production of CCS Medical printed materials for use both internally and externally RESPONSIBILITY

 

Reports to:  Director of Marketing   

Supervisory: None   

 

PRIMARY CUSTOMERS

 

Internal:  Creative Manager, Copywriter, other Departmental employees

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

 

· Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Marketing or related field from four-year college or university, and 3-5 years of sales and/or marketing experience

· Strong understanding of the Point of Care marketplace

· Ability to understand complex reimbursement issues

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as print material, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. 

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

· Ability to speak effectively before groups of vendors or employees of the organization.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Occasional: Standing; walking indoors; reaching with hands and arms; stooping; kneeling; crouching; crawling; lifting and/or move up to 10 lbs
