Process Quality Engineer

Pathway Medical Technologies, Inc., an innovator in the design and development of vascular medical products, is currently seeking an experienced Process Quality Engineer to join our rapidly growing organization

 

The Process Quality Engineer will institute and monitor systems to ensure product quality is maintained. This position works closely with manufacturing and manufacturing engineering. Pathway is seeking a hand’s on individual that is highly motivated and has the ability to implement effective process.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements that reduce product risk, improve Quality, and maximize customer satisfaction

·  Establish process controls, monitor data, and proactively identify and report quality control issues.

·  Work effectively with Manufacturing team to ensure product quality is of the highest caliber

·  Disposition non-conforming materials

·  Review design and process changes.

·  Provide technical leadership, training and support to manufacturing teams and peers

·  Coordinate and perform special studies Design of Experiments (DOE's), and analysis

·  Applies appropriate problem solving techniques, and leads problem solving activities

·  Administer and direct failure analysis and preventive action activities as appropriate

·  Perform other activities as required

 

Skills/Experience:

 

·  BS in Engineering or other technical discipline

·  Minimum of 2 years experience in a regulated industry

·  Good knowledge of different statistical techniques, and ability to use statistical software.

·  Must be familiar with good manufacturing practices and ISO quality systems

·  Must have strong organization and computer skills

·  Basic training in metrology, inspection and component testing

·  Team player

·  Strong communication skills
