Through investment in research & development and relying on our vast expertise, we design and develop advanced wound perfusion systems and disposable pain pumps associated with post operative pain that improve medication safety, optimize application performance and reduce medical expenses.
Our disposable pain management systems are sophisticated and small. We support pain management in alternate site care. These devices provide accurate results, ease of use and reliable performance.
The Disposable Pain Management Product Manager will work in Salt Lake City, Utah which is located at the foot of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. They will be located in the offices of ZEVEX Inc., our sister company and home to our Marketing operations.
Functional Job Description: This individual will be responsible for execution of product development and product management activities related to wound perfusion, disposable pain pumps and post operative pain management. This consists of four main activities: introducing new products to the market, representing the market to engineering and operations for current products, representing the market internally during product development activities, and supporting Marketing and Sales in product development activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ensure that new products are designed and produced according to market or customer requirements.
· Ensure new products are ready for sale.
· Communicate product marketing strategies to the sales organization and develop appropriate sales implementation and support programs, including training.
· Direct all activities associated with the development and release of new products and line extensions within the platform.
· Investigate and analyze the current potential of the markets in which the company participates, including assessing the company’s position with respect to current penetration and future sales potential.
· Develop marketing plans including the analysis of markets served (share, price structure, volume, and growth rate), situational analysis (SWOT), and comprehensive review of customers, competitors, and products.
· Assist in the creation of and maintain key deliverables for products ranging from datasheets, presentations, whitepapers, and FAQ’s.
· Work with supply chain management to identify new sources for ancillary products.
Required Skills & Experience:
· At least seven years marketing experience, preferably in the medical device industry with at least three years experience working as a Product Manager.
· Bachelors degree required in nursing, pharmacy, marketing, or business, MBA preferred.
· Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with track record of successfully motivating group teams.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Ability to travel approximately 20-30%, both domestic and international.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
· Experience working in Wound Perfusion or Pain Management.
· Knowledge of wound perfusion therapies, post-operative pain management, disposable pumps, and related drug regimens and substitute technologies.
· Direct-to-consumer marketing experience.
