Product Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager – PFO is responsible for providing product line marketing and general business leadership within the PFO business at St. Jude Medical, Inc.  Specific duties include: •Work with external and internal customers to identify product improvement and development opportunities to better meet market requirements. •Partner with cross functional team members on new business development initiatives. •Lead marketing activities for products and accessories that have been, or will be, commercialized in the US sales and International Division regions.  •Work closely with the US sales and market development organizations, as well as International Division Marketing Managers to develop materials and programs designed to meet business objectives. •Work with R&D engineers and other functional groups to define market requirements for new products and product improvements. •Work with global marketing personal to develop market models to help guide the PFO business.  •Develop and manage global forecasts to manage sales expectations within the organization. •Develop and manage global demand forecasts to ensure appropriate operations plans can be made. •Develop launch plans, strategies and tactics designed to achieve global sales objectives. •Research and develop market development plans appropriate for the PFO business. •Research and develop effective global product positioning and messaging. •Develop marketing/sales collateral material to reinforce selling and positioning messages. •Oversee the development of advertising strategies and ad development. •Interact with internal and external customers to identify issues, provide solutions and answer questions. •Develop sales training materials. •Conduct sales training for new product introductions and on-going training of new sales representatives.Education and/or Experience: •Bachelors degree, MBA preferred.  •More than two years of primary marketing responsibility for a medical device. •A history of success in new product introduction, promotion and support. •Superior communication skills and demonstrated success in working with teams. •Ability to manage multiple projects •Demonstrated clinical and technical aptitude •Strong presentation capabilities •Excellent planning, organization and analytical skills •Travel up to 35%, depending upon position  If you are interested in exploring this job opportunity with St. Jude Medical, visit “Careers” on our website at www.sjm.com and apply to requisition 8422 or click on the link below.Apply Now!
