QA Technician

Lumenis Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art proprietary laser and intense pulsed light devices. Its systems are used in a variety of aesthetic, surgical and ophthalmic applications, including skin treatments, hair removal, non-invasive treatment of vascular lesions and pigmented lesions, acne, ENT, gynecology, urinary lithotripsy, benign prostatic hyperplasia, open angle glaucoma, secondary cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and refractive eye correction, as well as neurosurgery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms incoming, in-process and final product inspection. Ensures finished product meets company standards. Ensures that production workmanship meets or exceeds the quality specifications outlined in the applicable procedures. Performs process evaluations and product and process failure analysis as requested. Control the flow of nonconforming items, through the material review process and produce and distribute associated reports as requested.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience

· 1-2 years medical device manufacturing experience.

· Experience as a QA technician with basic understanding of electronics.

· Ability to read and understand quality procedures and use them for inspection and final testing of medical devices.Knowledge & Skills

· Competent in the use of Inspection tools and methods.

· Ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral)

· Computer skills - average proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Familiar with GMP and ISO requirements.

 

Physical Requirements

 

· Lifting up to 25 lbs.
