Job Description Regional Customer Account Specialist, Kansas City, MO Job Description Job Title: Regional Site SpecialistReports To: Regional ManagerGroup/Division: Managed Services/ResearchCareer Band: IIILocation: Kansas City, MO No. of Direct Reports: 0Day/Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM M-FFLSA Status: Non Exempt Position Summary:Regional Site Specialist will provide service to multiple customer facilities in the Central Region and provide coverage for Fisher Managed Services Staff during vacations, leave of absence or sick time. Candidates must independently make decisions and utilize available resources to meet customer requirements, which include Fisher Scientific mainframe, customer ERP systems, Fisher Requisition Inventory Management System (RIMS), CISPro, Fisher Scientific procedures, and customer procedures. Display a high level of confidentiality for both customer and Fisher. Analyzes/maintains/reconciles various customer and Fisher reports to ensure customer and Fisher requirements are met. Communicates with direct supervisor any customer issues or potential problems, promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and enhancements without the presence of site trainer and management team. Listens to customer concerns, effectively diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of resolution within established turnaround times. Establishes and fosters positive customer relationships. Essential Functions: Works back order reports Sourcing and cross referencing Ensures proper handling, storage, rotation and issuance of inventoried products Data input, document control, filing and records maintenance Conducts cycle counting and physical inventory Works with AP to resolve open invoices/pricing Designs and maintains basic key performance indicators Assists with the training of new associates Interacts with management, customer, vendors and service partners on continuous improvement projects and problem resolution Chemical Tracking Provide quotes Responsible for using customer’s ERP systems Conducts Internal presentations Track cost savings Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Conform to all Fisher and customer requirements for drug & alcohol screening, background investigation, security clearances, and medical checkups. BS/BA degree preferred 3-5 years customer service experience a must 3-5 years purchasing/inventory experience a plus Previous experience working within a laboratory environment a plus Previous EHS or hazmat training a plus Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suites Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) Ability to develop and document processes Ability to understand site protocols, policies, and procedures Able perform multiple job functions Strong attention to detail Ability to display critical thinking Ability to travel extensively 75% + of the time Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: 3-5 years customer service experience Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suites Able to lift 50 LBS Ability to travel extensively up to 70-80% of the time (Company reimbursed) Must have reliable transportation (Mileage reimbursed) Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
