SAP Security Administrator

Principal Job Functions:In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining, developing and testing authorization roles in SAP R/3, BW, and EP Portal. Duties will include building and maintaining SAP user profiles and roles across the entire SAP landscape. This candidate will participate in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT Security compliance initiatives. Review and approve IT changes that may impact SOX compliance. Help coordinate IT audit activities, track remediation efforts and work closely with both internal and external audit resources. To succeed at this function, the individual must be detail oriented, well organized, articulate, technically diverse, and business/risk aware. Must have strong analytical and problems solving skills with the ability to plan, adapt, and commit to deadlines. The individual will share on-call responsibilities. Five to ten percent travel required.Qualifications:Three to five years experience in configuring and administering SAP User SecurityUnderstanding of SAP administration and maintenanceBasic understanding of the technology architecture surrounding SAP (network, database, operating system, etc.)Basic understanding SAP client architecture (instance, client, transports, authentication, Exchange infrastructure (XI), Solution Manager, Business Warehouse, etc.)Experience in JD Edward’s CNC security administration is preferred. Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.High School diploma or GED requiredDegree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.Experience in writing technical documentation.Certifications in the appropriate technology preferred.Education: BachelorsJob Level: 3 - 5 yearsPercent Travel: 1-10%
