Job Description
Medical sales and support position for an individual interested to learn a diverse product line and its uses, to be able to communicate its value to the medical community with confidence, clarity, and knowledge. Sales Support for this position includes sales analysis, database management, internal reporting, establishing phone calling programs, resource reports for sales representatives, administration, etc. The Position will also be responsible to generate leads and sales through phone communication.
Skills and Experience Required
• Minimum BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in marketing or a business related field. Experience working in marketing, direct marketing, e-commerce, or sales is preferable
• Experience working with sales and marketing to develop and analyze online/offline-marketing campaigns
• Able to communicate value-added selling
• Sales training as a base
• Advanced computer skills working with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and ACT
• Enjoys taking the initiative
• Comfortable with problem solving
• Medically related experience is a plus
• Able to generate marketing campaigns
• Good listener with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ideal Person
• An organized individual, able to work in a fast paced environment and comfortable with managing multiple projects through prioritization
• Effective to become the corporate voice to build loyalty and relationships with the medical community, primarily through the phone
• Flexible in approach to work with different sales representative personalities and as a resource to independent contractors
• Enjoys creating solutions with various approaches
• Able to draw on diplomatic communication skill when necessary
