Sales Operations Manager

The Sales Operations Manager will be responisble for developing compensation targets and plan components for Regional Sales Managers, Regional Clinical Managers, Account Managers, Clinical Practice Consultants and Business Development Specialists.  The position will be reponsible for overseeing administration of the Sales budget (for commissions, events, travel, promotions).  In addition, the Sales Operations Manager will analyse the sales force through the management of Business Development Team (3-4)  individuals, territory alignments to ensure proper alignment with sales targets and corporate goals, reviewing and redesigning sales tracking reports, creating automation of sales process through CRM and other tools, and establishing relationships with recruiting firms to standardize recruiting practices.

 

Responsibilities also include:

 



  Work on cross-functional, interdepartmental teams to review business practices

ü  Work with Financial Analyst to provide statistical business analysis of pricing, product and contract opportunities

ü  Plan and coordinate all sales training / working with appropriate departments in providing training on all related subjects (clinical issues, contract documentation)

ü  Work with National Accounts to develop RFP program

ü  Work with appropriate departments in creating product launch strategies and trainings

 

  Analyze demographics

  ü  Create market models based on customer purchasing patterns, renewal history, and market size

ü  Analyze forecasting methodology and implement program to increase accuracy and determine appropriate quotas

ü  Review databases necessary to determine competitive pricing and customer demographics

 

 Tracking & Reporting

ü  Create pricing structures & promotional strategies (including sales incentive programs)

ü  Develop and administer file to track and authorize monthly commission payments; adhere to payroll calendar requirements

ü  Measure and track results and overall performance of sales promotions.  Continually adjust programs based on outcomes.

The successful candidate for this position should be a highly analytical thinker with excellent problem solving skills and team building oriented.  Individual should be able to make decisions and provide leadership.  A working knowledge of Sales Automation and CRM technology is required.  Medical device background and 5-7 years similar experience required.
