Sales Reporting Analyst
Orthofix Inc. is one global company with one vision... to produce innovative, minimally invasive products to assist practitioners and improve the lives of patients. Our Blackstone Medical business unit is currently looking for a Sales Reporting Analyst, Wayne, New Jersey.
The Sales Reporting Analyst will take the lead in all sales reporting and analysis for the business. The Sales Analyst will be focused on driving revenue growth and customer retention through the analysis of customer performance data and by identifying trends. This person should be highly inquisitive, analytical, pro-active, organized and be able to work independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and expand existing tracking and forecasting systems .
Regular production and delivery of standardized reports depicting book of business, sales forecasts, pipeline summary, etc.
Create ad-hoc analyses in order to support marketing and sales strategy.
Assist in the analysis and presentation of sales data used to create the Strategic Plan and Annual Budget.
Full ownership of analysis of sales data to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and client segmentation insight
Create and produce sales reporting on a regular basis and ad-hoc basis as requested
Monthly attrition and cap reporting
Coordinate with finance to develop sales dashboard and track performance against it
Track performance of sales team incentive plans
By analyzing data and trends, seek new opportunities to help Sales target the correct customers. Coordinate the dissemination of that information across departments including Sales Marketing and Product Development
Coordinates Creation & Distribution of Sales-Related Data
Work closely with internal sales departments to determine best methods for gathering sales-related data (reports).
Creates & implements processes for effectively maintaining sales-related data (reports).
Coordinates efforts to create sales-related data (reports) as needed by the various components of the sales organization & its Executive Management team.
Serves as a key contact for the sales organization surrounding all reporting issues.
Ensures departmental & system coordination with other departments publishing & distributing sales-related data
Analyzes & Interprets Sales-Related Data
Proactively provides analysis & interpretation of sales-related data to the organization that drives business results.
Properly prioritizes & aligns sales-related data activities to match current or upcoming sales goals & initiatives.
Works closely with both direct supervisor and field management in handling special requests for analysis and reporting of sales-related data.
Analyzes field-sales compensation plan annually
Manages territory realignments; makes territory recommendations that optimize sales and performance
Manages and communicates monthly results tracking, including commission reporting/tracking, compensation draws and distributor commissionsEssential Skills and Experienct
2 years experience in analytical activity, preferably within a sales organization
Strong analytical thinker
Ability to multitask and meet concurrent deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Articulate communicator and teamwork mentality
Proficient in MS Excel; SQL / database development experience
High level of integrity with a strong work ethic
Working knowledge of Datawarehouse architecture and Datawarehouse management techniques.
Familiarity with Cognos, Business Objects, and/or Crystal Reports
Proficiency in all Microsoft software programs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
4-year college degree
