Sales Representative--Medical Products Distribution

About the Company We are a growing medical products distributor in Southern California. We are looking to add sales representatives throughout Southern California to lead our sales growth. About the Opportunity We're looking for individuals who are interested in long-range career growth and have the strategic ability to plan for their professional futures. You'll get the chance to work with bright, highly motivated people. Help The Company be a leader in the Medical Products industry by acting as the Sales Representative who serves customers; services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts; adjusts content of sales presentations; focuses sales efforts on specific customers; submits orders; keeps management informed of competitive activities; monitors competition; recommends changes in products, service, and policy; resolves customer complaints.

Qualifications

Makes compelling presentations to a variety of audiences using visual aids, slide shows, and other media. Is adept at getting the attention and involvement of the most sophisticated and difficult audiences.

Adeptly explains features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full product line. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the competitive market.

Track record of attaining challenging sales goals and managing accounts within a designated region. Uses territory analysis to target top prospects.

Exudes self-confidence and inspires confidence in others.

Ensures that the customer receives a superior product or service. Listens attentively and responds effectively to customer complaints.

Skilled negotiator. Negotiates or mediates discussions competently, making concessions while accomplishing goals and protecting interests.

Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

Ranks within the top 10% of current sales force. Has a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.

Demonstrates intense motivation to sell.

Develops new account prospects through networking, referrals, and cold calling.

BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university is required.
