Search Engine Specialist

The purpose of this position is to create, execute and manage search engine positioning strategies to maximize the performance and profitability of our web site.

 

Minimum Required Skills:

-Search engine optimization

-Ability to hand code HTML in ASP.net web pages

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills

-Yahoo Search Marketing

-Google Adwords

-PPC

 

Requirements: 

-2+ years experience working as a search engine optimization specialist or similar role

-In depth understanding of search engine ranking algorithms

-Specific knowledge on how to achieve top placement in Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask

-Ability to work with and maximize the effectiveness of a budget

-Strong communication skills

 

Job Responsibilities:

-Manage, refine and document SEO strategies to increase organic search engine rankings

-Document and recommend advanced site enhancements for optimizations involving site architecture and programming

-Initiate and maintain quantitative and qualitative tracking reports to document SEO efforts

-Refine SEO keyword list, titles and descriptions

-Work with 3rd party web developers to improve rankings on dynamic asp.net pages, and ensure that SEO efforts do not affect site functionality.
