We are looking for a Senior Service Technician with supervisory experience.  This individual must be hands on and be willing to work as a Service Technician managing the delivery and set up of equipment with arranged schedule to the customer/patient, as well as work in the warehouse as needed.  The Senior Service Technician will also educate the patient/caregiver/nurse on the operation and safe use of equipment.

 

This position also will also entail an extended workweek, including some on-call evening and weekend shifts as well as overtime when necessary.  DME experience is preferred, but not required; training is available.

 

Main responsibilities will include

§  Coordinate Warehouse activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables.

§  Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures

§  Works closely with Logistics Manager to ensure adherence to processes and procedures.

§  Maintain warehouse and vehicle fleet according to EquipTech™ policies and procedures.

 

Other responsibilities will include

§  Consistently embrace and embody the CustomerCair™ Promise.

§  Load equipment in an orderly and safe manner in accordance with EquipTech™ policies.

§  Drive safely and defensively obeying all traffic laws.

§  Appropriately route and schedule deliveries based upon patient needs and efficiency of operations.

§  Communicate regularly with the Dispatcher and respond to RIDE as required.

§  Clean contaminated equipment picked up from patient’s residence or facility while following Blood borne Pathogen Regulations.

§  Demonstrate knowledge of Fire Code Regulations when organizing warehouse.

§  Perform weekly Vehicle safety checks and log results. Report changes or damages to vehicle condition.

§  Maintain adequate stock levels in vehicle at all times.

§  May be required to travel as needed throughout the United States to assist in coverage of other areas when the need arises.

 

Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

§  Two years of customer service or comparable experience is preferred.

§  Must be able to safely lift up to 100 lbs.

§  Must have a current, valid driver’s license.

§  Previous driving/delivery experience preferred.

§  Previous DME experience is preferred, but not required (training is available).

§  Clean background & DMV record.

§  Pass physical functional testing and complete all required training.

§  Ability to work independently and with a team.
