The Senior Financial Accountant is a newly created position working directly for the Corporate Controller. This important role is needed to meet our growth objectives and to build out our Accounting function.

 

The successful candidate will have 1) extensive hands on experience with general ledger reconciliations and close processes, 2) good system skills, 3) outstanding organization, analytical and problem solving skills 4) career motivated with a passion for career growth 5) good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Account Analysis and Reconciliation

·  Assist in account analysis and reconciliations

·  Assist in month end close process

·  Assist in developing monthly accrual entries

Fixed Asset Accounting

· Maintain fixed asset ledgers

· Record monthly depreciation entries

· Develop procedures and control demo inventory equipment

·   Implement new fixed asset system

Other:

· Special projects

· Assist Controller in revenue management function

· Lead the implementation of system enhancements and reporting initiatives

·   Assist in tax and other regulatory filings

 

Qualifications

·  5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

·  Extensive experience with mid range accounting applications (Epicor a plus)

·  Ability to work efficiently and independently

·  Positive “can do” attitude; willing to do whatever it takes to help the department run smoothly and efficiently

·  A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
